These flutes are a good choice for a beginner or experienced player alike. They are made from western cedar, which has a very warm, mellow tone that make it perfect for flutes. They are very forgiving to play and have closely grouped finger holes, making them excellent for someone just starting their flute journey. They are hand tuned in a minor pentatonic scale of F#. For preservation and to bring out the beauty of the wood, flutes are oiled inside and out with a non-toxic natural oil blend. Wood grain and shade varies. Bore size is 3/4".  Length is approx 23".
