Starter Flute
Our starter flute is made for someone beginning their journey with this instrument. Keyed in A# with a 3/4" bore, it is the shortest flute we currently offer, coming in at approximately 18" in length. It's easy to reach finger holes are spaced about 1" apart, which makes them easier to adequately cover. Made of western Cedar, they are very forgiving to play. With very little practice, your flute journey will be soaring in no time. Included is a printed scale chart to instruct how to cover and uncover holes to play the pentatonic scale. When you can play the scale, and follow a simple rule, you are ready to play your own heart song. A song given in the moment, from your heart, playing through your feelings more and more. That is what makes this instrument so special. It is a personal instrument and friend. Play when you are happy. Play when you are sad. Whatever you feel, play it out through your flute. This flute, like all Gray Fox Flutes, has burn sealed finger holes, air hole, and sound hole, tuned one at a time for accurate intonation. They are fed with a natural non-toxic oil to protect and to bring out the beauty of the wood. Because of it's size,it also makes a great flute to carry along where ever you wish to play.
