These flutes are a good choice for a beginner or experienced player alike. They are made from western cedar, which has a very warm, mellow tone that make it perfect for flutes. They are very forgiving to play and have closely grouped finger holes, making them easier to play in a large bore sized flute. All are hand tuned in a minor pentatonic scale, and available in several keys. For preservation and to bring out the beauty of the wood, flutes are oiled inside and out with a non-toxic natural oil blend. Wood grain and shade varies. Bore size is 1".
